cass: This is getting us nowhere. Come on, let's go have a drink.

Nicole: Now?

Cass: Yeah, come on.

Nicole: Don't think you've won this one, cass winthrop. I am going to ride that horse.

Cass: Absolutely not.

Nicole: We'll see about that.

Nicole: Hello, this is nicole love. Keep the horses saddled and ready to go. We'll be riding again in a little while. Thanks. Cass? Cass, wait!

Felicia: Hello, bridget.

Bridget: Oh, ms. Felicia.

Felicia: Where's donna?

Bridget: Oh, well, I'm afraid, you see --

felicia: It's all right, bridget.

Bridget: No --

felicia: Bridget, bridget --

bridget: Please, ms. Felicia --

felicia: It's all right, really. It's all right, don't worry. Well, here you are.

Donna: I told bridget --

felicia: Yeah, I know what you told bridget. But I have a couple of things to say to you.

Donna: No.

Felicia: Yes, donna. You can't take this lying down, my friend. In fact, you can't take this, period.

Donna: Felicia, please, just --

felicia: Come on, first of all, I want you to sit up. Come on, please, for me. Sit up. Thank you. Now second, I want you to stop moping around and I want you to start fighting back. This is not the donna hudson that I know here. Come on!

Donna: I -- I don't know how.

Felicia: Of course you know how. You spent your whole life fighting. Come on, you wrote the book on it.

Donna: Felicia, I am just so tired.

Felicia: No, no, look, you think you're tired. Believe me, a couple of minutes in a jacuzzi and a cold shower --

donna: No! Look, michael doesn't want to have anything to do with me.

Felicia: Donna, you know you don't believe that.

Donna: He said it.

Felicia: People say and do all sorts of things, but they don't mean it.

Donna: But he is so angry.

Felicia: Donna, michael and you belong together. And it's time. It's time for you to do something about it!

Zack: You're sure about this now?

Michael: Yeah. I'm positive.

Vicky: Zack. I didn't know --

michael: Hey, honey. How are you? Zack and I are almost done.

Vicky: Dad, I love you. Everything's going to be all right.

Michael: Sure it is. I know that.

Vicky: Listen, we'll get a place, and it'll be just the two of us.

Michael: Ok, just -- just the two of us.

Vicky: Nobody's ever going to hurt you again. I promise you. I'm going to make you happy.

Sam: We can't do this. I can't do this to me, I can't do this to you. We just can't do this to each other.

Amanda: You don't have gloves on.

Sam: Look, all we're supposed to be doing is working together, all right?

Amanda: We'll freeze!

Sam: That's the idea. It's just -- it's too hot in here. That's better.

Amanda: May I ask you a question?

Sam: No.

Amanda: Why did you kiss me?

sam: No.

Amanda: No? What is that supposed to mean?

Sam: No, you cannot ask me a question. Certainly not that one.

Amanda: Why, do you have a problem with it?

Sam: Listen, I kissed you -- I kissed you -- it just happened, all right?

Amanda: Things don't just happen. You make choices.

Sam: Yeah. One of the choices I had was to throw you out. Maybe I should've done that.

Amanda: Tell me the truth, sam.

Sam: The truth? The truth is that you're so pretty.

Amanda: That's the only reason?

Sam: No. I like you.

Amanda: Why?

Sam: What are you, the F.B.I.?

Amanda: What's so difficult about telling me why you like me?

Sam: Nothing.

Amanda: I'm waiting.

Sam: Mandy, you are so easy to talk to. That conversation that we had -- it just sort of led up to -- it seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

Amanda: And if you had to do it again, you wouldn't, right?

Sam: We can't let ourselves, mandy.

Amanda: You're right, boss, we can't let this happen again.

Sam: Look, all I'm saying is that I promised myself that I would not get involved with anybody, ok?

Amanda: I know what you're saying.

Sam: Maybe some other time, some other place we could get involved.

Amanda: You don't have to flatter me, sam.

Sam: No, seriously! Just the idea of us working together and, you know, being with each other while my career is still so iffy.

Amanda: You can't have a career and a girlfriend at the same time?

Sam: No. Not right now.

Amanda: Uh-huh.

Sam: It's lucky that we're both intelligent enough to put aside our feelings, right?

Amanda: Lucky. Very lucky.

Sam: I mean, we can still work together and be friends, huh? Please?

Amanda: Right, fine. So, let's get to work.

Sam: Good idea.

Amanda: I think I'll finish that list of supplies that I was making.

Sam: Yeah, while you're doing that, I'm going to go hit the drawing board, as they say.

Amanda: Am I in your way?

Sam: No. I'm hungry.

Amanda: Oh.

Sam: It's kind of tough to work on an empty stomach. I'm going to order something in. Casa vega? Hey, roberto. It's sam fowler.

Buenos tardes, amigo. What's good today, ok? Yeah, I'll take a couple of those and some refried beans. No, hold on. Mandy, what would you like? Mandy, mexican food. Would you like something?

Amanda: I'm not hungry. I'm working.

Sam: No, roberto, that's it.

Gracias.

Sam: "I'm not hungry, I'm working." Great.

Nicole: Mmm. I love the smell of cloves and cider. I love that ride. I love this day, don't you?

Cass: It's a very, very, very, very, very nice day. It's also a very good day for making strategy. What do you say?

Nicole: Strategy for what?

Cass: The monte carlo showing. The sooner we get back to bay city and start things in motion, the better off we'll be.

Nicole: Well, I'm pretty well set with the designs.

Cass: May I see them?

Nicole: Sure. Here.

Cass: Oh, my, you have been busy.

Nicole: Yeah. I'm not going to blow this like I did after that tops showing. This time I'm putting the word out that I can deliver on the orders.

Cass: This is so different.

Nicole: Good different or bad different?

Cass: Great different! I mean, they're terrific. There's such pizzazz here. You really cut loose this time.

Nicole: Yeah, I wanted to get away from what I'd done before, do something fresh.

Cass: You're excited about this, aren't you?

Nicole: Yeah. I know that this is good stuff.

Cass: You sound confident.

Nicole: I am.

Cass: Confident enough to say yes to marrying me?

Nicole: I still wish that there was some other way. What you said, about us having fun?

Cass: Just two friends.

Nicole: In a good partnership, I know, but I don't --

[Knock on door]

Nicole: Who's there?

Man: It's from the manager, ms. Love.

Nicole: Hi.

Man: Hello. Look, I'm sorry, but we're having a slight problem with the switchboard, and you have a call from monte carlo -- a monsieur du ponier, I think?

Nicole: It's jacques.

Man: Anyway, the thing is I can't transfer an overseas call, so you could take it at the desk if you wish.

Nicole: Oh, I wish. Yes, I wish very much. I'll be back in a minute, cass.

Cass: Take your time. I'll be here.

Nicole: Ok.

Cass: Yes, will I have trouble getting an outside line? Thank you.

[Phone rings]

Woman: Hello?

Cass: It's me. I'm back at the inn.

Woman: With her?

Cass: Yes, with her. She's weakening. It won't be long before she says yes. But you must stay away from now on. Do you understand? Stay away. If you don't, this whole thing is going to explode in our faces. Do you understand?

Donna: No, you just don't know.

Felicia: I do know that life is too short for this.

Donna: Michael is so hurt.

Felicia: Donna, you keep saying that. And I'm sure he is, but, honey, you have to do something about it.

Donna: I can't believe this is happening.

Felicia: It won't happen if you won't let it happen.

Donna: No! It's already happened all those years ago.

Felicia: Donna, come on, I don't believe that. You know, no matter how awful or final something may seem, it doesn't mean that it is.

Donna: No, I was. I was such a fool.

Felicia: Ok. You made some mistakes, you're right. You and john being together was certainly one of them, but it happened. You can't change that.

Donna: No! But I knew I'd pay for it. I knew this was going to come back to haunt me.

Felicia: You have to start -- you have to start looking ahead, looking towards your future. You've got to try to get michael back.

Donna: I want that. I want that more than anything in this world.

Felicia: I know that.

Donna: Felicia, if I could get him back, if I could make him love me again, I know that I could get victoria to trust me again, and marley.

Felicia: You know, none of those things happen by themselves. You have to make them happen.

Donna: But I don't know how!

Felicia: Call michael.

Donna: No. No, I can't!

Felicia: Yes, yes, you can, donna. Come on.

Donna: No, he doesn't want to talk to me. He would just hang up.

Felicia: So you let him hang up. At least he'll know that you want to talk to him.

Donna: I -- I suppose you're right.

Felicia: Dial. Come on. Come on.

Michael: Don't you worry, honey. Everything's going to be ok.

Zack: I hope you're right, michael.

Vicky: Zack, I'll walk you to the door.

Zack: Thank you.

[Phone rings]

Michael: Hello?

Donna: Michael? It's me, donna.

Michael: Donna.

Donna: Yes?

Michael: What do you want?

Donna: Um, I miss you. I need to see you.

Michael: I'm sorry, I can't do that right now.

Donna: Michael, please, can't we just talk?

Michael: Donna, there is nothing to talk about.

Donna: Michael --

michael: Donna, I'm going to hang up now. Goodbye.

Vicky: Dad, it's going to be all right.

Michael: Yeah.

Vicky: Please don't feel bad.

Michael: Hey, look, I'm supposed to feel bad. But I'm going to be ok, all right?

Vicky: I know. One minute you're numb, the next minute you're all torn up inside.

Michael: Well, that pretty much describes it.

Vicky: Well, you know what will help?

Michael: If I knew what would help, I'd be doing it right now.

Vicky: Well, let's go, then!

Michael: Go where?

Vicky: Out of here. Let's hit the high life.

Michael: Ha! The high life.

Vicky: Come on, we'll put some gas in that jet of yours and we'll take off to some exciting cities like paris and rio and puerto rico --

michael: Rio? Puerto rico? Yes, I tell you what, someday I will take you to all those places, and we will -- we'll party, I promise.

Vicky: But not tonight.

Michael: No, not tonight. Hey, I thought you had a date. You're going out with adam, aren't you?

Vicky: Hey, I don't want to leave you here alone.

Michael: Oh, no, no, no, you'd be bored out of your mind if you stayed here with me.

Vicky: I would not.

Michael: Absolutely. I got nothing to do here but paperwork, tons of paperwork.

Vicky: Well, I don't care.

Michael: And, victoria, I am not hungry. I don't want to eat. I'm just going to sit here and fill out reports.

Vicky: Then let me help.

Michael: You can't help. It's reports that I have to fill out. Look, honey, I have to go through this, and I have to go through this alone.

Vicky: Well, I don't want you to go through this alone.

Michael: Hey, you go out on your date, ok?

Vicky: Ok. I'll call you.

Michael: Nope. Phone's going to be off the hook all night long.

Vicky: Ok.

Michael: Ok, so you'll go, huh?

Vicky: Yes, yes, yes, yes.

Michael: All right. I want you to have a good time. Be home at a reasonable hour.

Vicky: Right.

Sam: Mandy, why are you doing this?

Amanda: You need a bigger desk.

Sam: Look, I want an answer.

Amanda: Your drawers are a mess.

Sam: You're driving me nuts, do you know that?

Amanda: You know, maybe -- maybe if you get a big file cabinet. That'll work.

Sam: I don't like being ignored!

Amanda: I don't like being harassed.

Sam: I wouldn't harass you if you didn't ignore me.

Amanda: I'm trying to work.

Sam: Does that mean you can't look me in the face?

Amanda: That means that I'm very busy.

Sam: Oh, too busy to be civil, huh?

Amanda: I'm being perfectly civil.

Sam: Oh, not in my book. In my book, people are civil when they answer each other's questions. They make polite conversation. They smile once in a while. Hmm.

Amanda: Do you want me to be a phony?

Sam: No, I want you to be yourself. You're acting as though I'm not even here.

Amanda: That's what you wanted.

Sam: I never said that.

Amanda: It's what you meant.

Sam: How do you know what I meant?

Amanda: I'm trying to be professional.

Sam: You're trying too hard.

Amanda: What do you want from me?

Sam: I want you to be yourself. Listen, maybe I put it a little harshly earlier.

Amanda: You said what you felt, that's all.

Sam: Yeah, but you're taking it way too personally.

Amanda: What, do you say this to all the girls?

Sam: Mandy, please, do not be sarcastic.

Amanda: Oh, come on, sam. What can I do except take it personally?

Sam: Listen, I just don't have time for a relationship right now, that's all.

Amanda: Of course not. Who does? I mean, after all, us yuppies don't have all that much frivolous time to be spending on relationships, do we? There's many bigger and better things out there.

Sam: Listen, mandy --

amanda: I tell you what, I tell you what, you just go ahead and get yourself an established artist, and by that time, if I'm still around, I'll give you a call.

Sam: Mandy, just --

amanda: Of course, by that time, it'll be probably be 1990. But that's ok, I'll see if you can pencil me in.

Sam: Oh, now you wait a minute, lady. I'm going to be an established artist way before 1990.

Amanda: You should be established now.

Sam: Well, you think that's my choice?

Amanda: Well whose choice would it be?

Sam: People don't just get established. They need breaks!

Amanda: You're not going to get a break by leaving your work sitting around your loft gathering dust.

Sam: Oh, what am I supposed to do, hang my work up in the halls of "brava"?

Amanda: You haven't even tried to sell it yet.

Sam: Yes, because I'm trying to get a graphics career going! Or haven't you noticed?

Amanda: What are you doing graphics for, anyway?

Sam: So I can pay the bills. If I can pay the bills now, I might have the time later to sell my artwork. Listen, I'm going out for a while. Just -- ugh!

Amanda: Be my guest.

Sam: I won't be back for a long time, so just close up when you're done.

Boy: Casa vega with your order, sir.

Sam: Great. Give her the burrito. She good use a good one.

Boy: Here you go, miss.

Amanda: Thanks. That's great.

Felicia: Donna. Ok, what happened?

Donna: He -- he didn't want to talk to me. He just hung up.

Felicia: Ok. So he hung up. I mean, you broke the ice, didn't you? And the next time you call him, it won't be as hard.

Donna: No, no, you don't understand. Felicia, he doesn't want to have anything to do with me. He doesn't trust me.

Felicia: Right now you're right, he doesn'T.

Donna: No, no, he never will.

Felicia: Yes, unless you don't fight for him, donna.

Donna: I can't!

Felicia: Honey, of course you can. You fought your whole life for everything that you wanted.

[Doorbell rings]

Felicia: For heaven's sakes, this is not the time for you to stop.

Donna: But you didn't hear his voice over the phone. You didn't hear how he sounded.

Felicia: Oh, donna. He's angry, he's hurt.

[Door closes]

Felicia: But that doesn't mean that he doesn't love you.

Bridget: Ms. Donna? Ms. Donna? Dr. Frame's here to see you.

Donna: Oh, jamie, I --

jamie: I'm sorry to barge in like this, but I've got some news that can't wait and I wanted to tell you in person.

Felicia: Ok, bridget, why don't you make me some of your famous tea?

Bridget: Oh, yes, I'll make you a nice cup. Excuse us.

Felicia: I'll be in the kitchen.

Donna: All right.

Felicia: Hi, honey.

Jamie: Ahem.

Donna: Uh, jamie, is it about --

jamie: The results of the pregnancy test are in.

Donna: Jamie? Am I?

Jamie: You're pregnant.

Donna: I'm pregnant? I am. I'm going to have a baby.

Jamie: Well, I hope this comes as good news.

Donna: This is the baby that michael and I have been trying to have for months. We want this baby so much. And we did it. Jamie, we did it!

Jamie: I want to see you in my office as soon as possible. We'll go over the vitamin requirements, the diet, the whole thing.

Donna: Yes, yes, yes, I promise I'll make an appointment this afternoon.

Jamie: Well, listen, donna, I know things aren't that good between you and michael right now.

Donna: No. No.

Jamie: But I hope you can work it out so you can be together.

Donna: Thank you, jamie. Thanks.

Donna: Felicia! Bridget!

Felicia: Donna, are you all right?

Donna: I am fine. I -- I'm terrific.

Bridget: Are you sure, dear?

Donna: Yes, yes, I'm very sure.

Felicia: What did jamie say to you?

Donna: I don't believe -- this is so incredible.

Felicia: What?

Bridget: What is, dear?

Donna: Michael and I --

felicia: Are you?

Bridget: What are you, dear? What are you?

Donna: Bridget, we're going to have a baby!

Bridget: A baby?

Donna: Yes, es, I'm pregnant!

Bridget: Oh, isn't that wonderful!

Felicia: It really is. It's wonderful.

Donna: I just feel so -- I don't -- I don't know how I feel.

Felicia: You feel happy. Of course you feel happy. I mean, you've wanted this baby for so long. Donna, don't you do see? This is such a good sign.

Donna: It is?

Felicia: Of course. My mother always said that a baby brings good luck.

Donna: Did she?

Felicia: Yes. Don't you know how much you and michael belong together?

Bridget: Oh, I agree, my dear.

Felicia: All right, so now you'll stop all this fighting and you'll go to him.

Donna: What, now?

Felicia: Yes, right now.

Donna: No, I -- I don't think I can.

Felicia: Oh, of course you can. Now, look, you'll take with you an especially good bottle of champagne. Michael hudson could never turn down a great bottle of wine.

Donna: One.

Felicia: Right?

Donna: Wait a minute. We don't have any here. I --

felicia: Ah, yes, but I do. I will go to tops and I will get it. See? Aren't you glad you know me?

Donna: Yes, I am.

Felicia: Well, while you stay here, why don't you fix up a little bit?

Donna: Oh, oh, yes. I mean, I must look a mess.

Bridget: Well, we're going to take care of that, my dear.

Donna: All right.

Felicia: Bridget, make sure she pampers herself.

Bridget: Yes, aye.

Felicia: Take a nice, long bath and give yourself a facial. Well, just look gorgeous, all right?

Donna: All right, all right, but you hurry back.

Felicia: I will.

Donna: Thank you for everything.

Felicia: You're welcome.

Donna: I love you.

Felicia: You, too. All right, ok?

Donna: Oh, bridget! We are! We're going to have a baby!

Bridget: We're going to have a baby! Oh, how wonderful!

Donna: Oh, I got to go get ready.

Bridget: Oh, come on, come on. Oh, we're going to have a baby.

Donna: Yes. Yes.

Bridget: As I recall in scotland, see, a baby --

vicky: Hi, lisa.

Lisa: Hi.

Vicky: Where's jamie?

Lisa: He got beeped.

Vicky: Oh, I thought he was covered for tonight.

Lisa: Well, he was, but this was something he wanted to handle himself.

Vicky: Oh, so I guess he won't be here, huh?

Lisa: Oh, he'll be here. He'll come later when he's done, and then we'll go straight to the power house.

Vicky: Oh, and what about adam? Did he get beeped, too?

Lisa: Well, I don't know, I haven't seen him. Was he supposed to meet you here?

Vicky: Well, yeah. As a matter of fact, I'm a little late.

Wally: Vicky? I've got a message for you.

Vicky: He stood me up, right?

Wally: Look, he's awful sorry.

Vicky: I knew it.

Wally: Vicky, something came up at the station.

Vicky: Did somebody's cat get lost or something?

Wally: No, honey, actually, there was a murder.

Vicky: Oh, well, it would have to happen tonight.

Wally: Why do you say that, honey?

Vicky: It's just been a bad day, wally, just a bad day.

Man: Hi, lisa.

Lisa: Oh, hi, kirk. I didn't see you there.

Kirk: I hear you've been having a bad day.

Vicky: Yeah. Lisa, let's get a table.

Kirk: Can I help?

Vicky: No, I don't think so.

Kirk: I'm an intern. My name's kirk, kirk douglas.

Vicky: Oh, yeah? I'm lana turner. Come on, lisa, let's get a table, all right?

Lisa: He's really very nice. Jamie knows him.

Vicky: Yeah, well, I just don't like it when the guy's that way.

Lisa: His name is really kirk douglas and nobody will believe him.

Vicky: Well, I guess I just don't need a boyfriend right now, ok?

Lisa: You know, that's what I used to say. Then I met jamie.

Vicky: And your whole life changed.

Lisa: Well, I have someone to love and share everything with.

Vicky: Well, that's you, and I'm me.

Lisa: And that's crazy. What you need is someone to fall in love with.

Cass: Double?

Nicole: As in twice as many.

Cass: What happened?

Nicole: Well, all jacques said was that he had a dispute with one of the other designers and another spot opened up.

Cass: Are you going to be able to come up with twice as many designs?

Nicole: Just give me a sketch pad.

Cass: Nicole, that's an awful lot of work. This show is less than a month away.

Nicole: I know. Jacques needs the designs in three weeks. He'll have them in two. Oh, what a day! Oh, what a great day!

Cass: Two weeks?

Nicole: Yeah.

Cass: Nobody could ever say you don't like a challenge.

Nicole: Oh, I am so excited. Let's do something, ok?

Cass: You have to get to work.

Nicole: Oh, later. First, I want to expend some energy.

Cass: Oh, yeah?

Nicole: Yeah.

Cass: A couple of things do come to mind.

Nicole: Cass, no.

Cass: Just kidding, yeah.

Nicole: Uh-huh.

Cass: Why don't we go for a horseback ride up the hill that we passed by before?

Nicole: Yeah, that's a great idea.

Cass: The sunset should look beautiful from up there.

Nicole: You're right. Well, what are we waiting for?

Cass: Ok. Oh, I need to stop by my room for just a minute.

Nicole: I'll race you. Come on! You're behind already!

Cass: Nicole!

Nicole: Ok, beauty, you and I are going for a ride.

Man: He's kind of tired. He gets skittish when he's tired.

Nicole: Oh, not with me he won'T. Will you, challenger? Thanks.

Cass: Nicole, wait, wait.

Nicole: You know, you are right, cass. There's nothing I love more than a challenge.

Cass: Nicole, will you please listen to me?

Nicole: Loved barbara van arkdale, monte carlo. Look out. Come on, challenger!

Cass: Nicole!

Felicia: Oh, wally. Champagne, honey, the really good bottle.

Wally: Oh, come on, you don't mean the really, really good bottle?

Felicia: That bottle, the one we got at auction. You remember.

Wally: You found a buyer? Somebody's going to pay 500 clams for it?

Felicia: Actually, I'm giving it as a gift to donna, who is going to give it as a gift to michael. You'll see. No, it's all right, go on.

Vicky: Oh, no, she doesn'T.

Lisa: What?

Vicky: If she thinks she can get michael back by sending him expensive gifts, she can forget it.

Lisa: Donna?

Vicky: She's going to butter him up and then go crawling on her knees with her phony little tears.

Lisa: What makes you think they're so phony?

Vicky: I know her. I just hope my father can keep it together when she starts in with her lies.

Sam: Hi, felicia. Have you seen mitch?

Felicia: Oh, no, another one.

Sam: Another what?

Felicia: Oh, it's just that we seem to be having an epidemic of the blues around here today.

Sam: Look, I just want to know where mitch is.

Felicia: Why do you look that way?

Sam: You haven't seen him, then?

Felicia: Listen, this thing that seems to be bothering you, does it have anything to do with a girl?

Sam: Yes, it's girls.

Felicia: No, no, I didn't say -- I said a girl.

Sam: All right, so it's one girl.

Felicia: Would you like to talk about it?

Sam: No.

Felicia: Oh.

Sam: All right, look, I'd like to ask you a question.

Felicia: Sure, ask.

Sam: All right, say you got this career, and this career's real important to you.

Felicia: Right?

Sam: And then you meet someone and you know that this someone is going to mess everything up -- I mean, career-wise. What do you do?

Felicia: You wouldn't be talking about mandy ashtin, would you?

Sam: What do you -- how do you know about mandy ashtin?

Felicia: I've heard -- I've heard of her, yes.

Sam: Felicia, I just don't know what to do.

Felicia: Well, actually, you're probably not going to believe this, but then if you know me, you have no reason to believe this -- I usually am on the side of romance, but I think in your case, I think you should stick with your career, I do.

Wally: Felicia?

Felicia: Yes? Ah.

Wally: Here's that good bottle.

Felicia: Great. Wally.

Wally: Be careful. It's worth a dollar a bubble.

Felicia: All right. So I'll be back a little later. If you want to talk about this, we can. Great. I'll be back.

Sam: All right, go with the career. It's not going to be that easy.

[Sam sighs]

Amanda: Sam? Sam? ( Applause and cheers (

>> Lisa: W

amanda: Oh, I can't do this.

Wally: That's a tough call, sam.

Sam: It's the toughest call I've ever made, wally. Tougher.

Wally: Reminds me of miami.

Sam: Yeah? What happened in miami?

Wally: We had a gate down there several years ago.

Sam: Mm-hmm?

Wally: Sam, there was this dish. She was cuban. Ah! She could mambo all night.

Sam: Yeah, so what was the problem?

Wally: My work, same as yours.

Sam: Oh.

Wally: I couldn't concentrate, so I had to make a choice.

Sam: What was that?

Wally: The woman.

Sam: Yeah?

Wally: I quit my job!

Sam: Well, so what happened between you and this mambo woman?

Wally: Nothing very good. You see, it turns out that she was an undercover cop. She was just waiting around for me to finish my job so that she could, you know -- well, it's a long story. Let's just say I got tired of the mambo.

Sam: So what are you trying to tell me here, wally?

Wally: I'm saying it's a tough call. But if you do decide on the woman, make sure you know beforehand all of her credentials.

Sam: Yeah.

Vicky: Donna is one of the all-time great liars and manipulators.

Lisa: Jamie says that she's changed.

Vicky: Changed? No, donna could never do that. She enjoys hurting people too much. Lisa, I'm not going to let her hurt michael or me anymore.

Lisa: Vicky, I think donna is hurting as much as anyone.

Vicky: Please, lisa.

Lisa: I just don't want you to end up sorry for being so hard on her.

Vicky: No, the only thing I'm sorry about is that I left that house without telling her how I felt.

Lisa: Where are you going?

Vicky: I'm going to stop her. She's not going to get back with michael.

Lisa: Vicky, please!

Vicky: Lisa, what is it with you?

Lisa: Vicky, I lost my parents. I don't want to see you do the same thing.

Vicky: I'm sorry.

Jamie: Hi, vicky. Where you off to?

Vicky: Get out of my way, jamie.

Jamie: What's wrong?

Vicky: I'm going to stop donna. She's not going to hurt my father anymore.

Jamie: You can't see her tonight.

Vicky: I can do whatever I want.

Jamie: Not tonight! We're going to the power house just like we planned. Donna needs some time to work things out on her own.

Singer: I remember the day you went out of your way just to see me I do I still feel butterflies when I look in your eyes that old magic in you is still there still the same like the sun and the rain nothing's changed I love the rain you're my anchor and my sail in the wind I need you here forever so hang on to the wings of my heart

donna: Michael. We are. We are going to have a baby.

Singer: Beyond a doubt if you hold on to the wings of my heart

[Sam grunts]

Felicia: All right, bridget, is she ready?

Bridget: Oh, wait till you see her, ms. Felicia. Oh, she's just beautiful!

Felicia: Well, she's going to have to be a lot better than that. I want her to be spectacular. Let me go upstairs and see if I can help her find something.

Bridget: Oh, yes, right.

Felicia: Donna.

Donna: Is it all right?

Felicia: Oh, honey, it's perfect, really, perfect. Michael's going to melt when he sees you.

Donna: Oh.

Donna: I am, I am so nervous.

Felicia: I know you are, but as soon as you tell michael about this baby, everything will change.

Donna: Do you really think so?

Felicia: Yes, believe me, I do.

Bridget: Oh, that's right. Mr. Michael loves you, my dear.

[Doorbell rings]

Felicia: Yes, he does. Now do you know what you're going to say to him?

Donna: Sort of. I know it when I get there, I'll be able.

Bridget: Yes, just a minute.

Felicia: Now, don't let him --

bridget: Ms. Donna? It's for you!

Donna: Oh, excuse me. All right.

Donna: I had to sign for this. It's from zack edwards' office.
